About
The tt-01 is a 1/10 scale chassis made by a r/c car company called Tamiya. Most tt-01 owners use them for "drifting" purposes, but some use them for rallying/racing. Because of its lightweight, bathtub chassis frame, the tt-01 is favored by many. It is cheap (compared to many other r/c cars), reliable, and has many, many hop-up parts for it. The tt-01 comes with a 540, 34t motor, also known as the "silver-can" motor. Tt-01s are shaft-driven, which is better than belt-drive. Belt-driven cars tend to have backlash, or rocks/gravel wear away at the belts. Most people usually change out their shafts first, because the shaft that comes with a tt-01 is plastic, and a bit weak. Tt-01 RTRs and kits are technically the same, except in kits the buyer has to purchase electronics (motor, ESC (Electronic Speed Control), radio, etc.). There are many different types of tt-01s, such as the tt-01d, which is a "drift" component of the tt-01, or the tt-01r which is the tt-01 race chassis. Many beginners buy this chassis as a RTR, or a Ready-To-Run. A Ready-To-Run car needs just batteries and a charger. The body is pre-decaled and prepainted.

Hop-Up
A tt-01 has many hop-up options.
Owners can change their gears, ball bearings, motors, shaft, [[]]ESC, radio gear, rims, and more.
Motor
A good motor is essential. Too little turns, and it will go too fast and will burn out the ESC. Too many turns, it wont go as fast as you want it to. The lower the turn is, (ex. 19t) the faster the car can go. Tamiya tt-01s can withstand up to 23t without burning out the ESC. Some people have claimed to have gone as low as 17t without changing anything, but it is not recommended.

Bearings
Ball bearings are the most essential part of tuning up your r/c car. Full ball bearings enable heightened top speeds and longer component life. Because a tt-01d and the tt-01r chassis comes with full ball bearings, owners will not have to change them out.

Rims
Rims are all up to the buyer. Chrome black, chrome, gold, silver, blue, green, red rims..the possibilities are virtually endless. Most people will buy rims according to how they match with the color of their bodies, but it is all up to the buyer. But, do not buy rims that are not the size that matches the tt-01.

Bodies
Bodies are also all up to the buyer. There is a choice between prepainted or clear bodies. Prepainted tend to be what comes with the RTR version of it. Clear bodies require painting, masking, cutting off excess parts, etc. Spray painting is what people usually do. There is a very large range of different bodies, which mostly all come with decals. Because a tt-01 is on a 1/10 scale, 190mm bodies are recommended. If 200mm bodies are purchased, offset rims may be necessary.
Felicity Kendall Huffman (born December 9, 1955) is an Academy Award-nominated Screen Actor's Guild Award- winning Primetime Emmy-winning Golden Globe-winning American film and television actress, who is best known for her award-winning role in Transamerica and as Lynette Scavo on the hit ABC drama Desperate Housewives.

Biography
Early life
Huffman was born in New York. Her parents divorced a year after her birth, and she was raised mostly by her mother. She has 6 sisters. She graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan. After high school she went on to New York University where she graduated in 1988 from the Tisch School of the Arts, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama.

Career
Felicity Huffman is best known for her leading role as Lynette Scavo in the television series Desperate Housewives and her starring role in the 2005 film Transamerica. Huffman also starred in the television dramedy Sports Night, and has had guest starring roles on Frasier, The West Wing, and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Huffman has also appeared in the films Raising Helen and Christmas with the Kranks.

Huffman won an Emmy for her work on Desperate Housewives (Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series), as well as two 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards (Best Actress - Comedy Series and part of Best Ensemble - Comedy Series). Huffman's role as transsexual woman in the film Transamerica was praised by many critics and garnered her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress as well as nominations for the Best Actress (Screen Actors Guild) and Best Actress (Academy Awards). Huffman is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Huffman is also the author of the self-help book, A Practical Handbook for the Boyfriend.

Private life
Huffman is married to actor William H. Macy, with whom she has two daughters, Sofia Grace and Georgia Grace. She has also appeared on television, in movies, and on stage many times with her husband, such as on the TV show Sports Night and in the movie Magnolia. The couple have become the subject of a running gag on the satirical news show The Colbert Report, in which the couple (who live a quiet life outside the glaring media spotlight) are regularly referenced as representing the greatest of today's celebrity couples in a culture obsessed with celebs. Colbert refers to the couple as "Filliam H. Muffman", a play on the current trend by media types to combine the names of major celebrity couples, in the mold of "Brangelina" and "TomKat." The segment is a fan favorite, especially because Colbert often breaks character by bursting into laughter.

In 2005, Huffman revealed that she had suffered from both anorexia and bulimia in her late teens and twenties. At the height of her bulimia she would purge up to six times a day. Her weight dropped to 98 lbs, her periods stopped, and she was too weak to go jogging. However, with therapy and upon meeting Macy she managed to overcome those conditions. She is still known for her self-deprecating humor and her belief that she is "not pretty."

She is a huge fan of Tina Turner and her dream was to be a back-up singer, so when Huffman was on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Winfrey surprised her with a visit from Tina Turner where the two got to sing together.
