If this were true (which it isn't and I have now wasted three hours of my life checking that and then made this account just so that nobody else goes through the same pain), that would have very major implications, for example on our reading of Dido's infatuation in Aeneid IV. The Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite (+ everyone) simply states that Zeus made her fall in love, no mention of Eros / Cupid at all. undo
