"Baizuo …means something like 'woke'—as said in critics of progressives." If you don't like the word "progressive" then we can leave the moralistic part, which is also explicitly stated: "Baizuo evokes.. shallow, simple moralistic views about the world." "The “white” came not to mean race but to refer to naivety or ignorance."
