  • curprev 23:0623:06, 8 December 2024 TheTimesAreAChanging talk contribs 40,227 bytes −563 Trimmed 2023 Third World Quarterly article, which is entirely derivative of other sources, to due weight (and to avoid potential WP:COPYVIO concerns given the length of the previous excerpt). On a related note, Majd has written, in considerable detail, about how his work has been widely shunned by other academics, and the problems that he sees with mainstream academia, so it's unclear why any editor would seek to present his as the mainstream view. undo
  • curprev 22:5622:56, 8 December 2024 TheTimesAreAChanging talk contribs 40,790 bytes +63 RV disruptive IP editing by a single-purpose account with an apparent conflict of interest who appears to be a sockpuppet of the indeffed sockpuppeteer User:Moretonian. There has never been any support for these edits in several talk page discussions over multiple years. While this SPA may think that he can outlast the other editors and brute-force the changes in through attrition and by changing IPs, this is not how Wikipedia is supposed to work. undo

  • curprev 17:4917:49, 8 December 2024 129.2.89.114 talk 40,560 bytes +932 User Wolarb is reminded that the quoted text is published in Third World Quarterly, a highly respected peer reviewed (usually three reviewers) journal published in London, and approved by the journal editors. It is a rigorous process and completely valid source. Its removal is entirely unjustified. Instead of unhelpful and disruptive editing, user Wolarb should write a comment rebutting the offending article and submit it to Third World Quarterly. That would be helpful and appreciated by many. undo
