They are simply similar thoughts and questions humans had formulated elsewhere, but it is not the same histprical question debated in Christian culture. Therefore, it is not part of the history. undo

For example, the Neo Platonic idea of God as first cause doesn't work with Sunni Orthodoxy, as the latter adhere to Occasionalism. Further, each school may have different aproaches to ethics and morality, therefore different approaches to the theodicy in general. undo
