Hear me out, It has a sepereate page doesn't make it a brand new show, Netflix did that in past before like with Justin Time and Captain Underpants, it's simply another season, Netflix just labels them as a new series for some reason sometimes.

On June 11, 2013, Teletoon announced that the original series renewal for season 7 consisting of 13 episodes and a three-part special. However, in response to a tweet on June 25, 2015, voice actor [[James Arnold Taylor]] stated that he wasn't aware of any plans for more seasons.


In January 2020, WildBrain announced that their Vancouver studio was hiring for a new Johnny Test project separate from the web-shorts. On May 6, 2020, WildBrain confirmed that 2 new seasons have been picked up by [[Netflix]] for two seasons and a 66-minute interactive special set for release in 2021, with Fellows returning as showrunner and executive producer. The first of the two was released on July 16, 2021.

Johnny Test is a Canadian/American animated television series. It premiered on Kids' WB, on The WB Television Network, on September 17, 2005. The series aired in the United States on Cartoon Network, as of January 7, 2008,[1] and in Canada on Teletoon, as of October 28, 2006. [2] The show was produced by Warner Bros. Animation for the first two seasons and Cookie Jar Entertainment for its second and later seasons. According to the credits, Warner Bros. still owns its trademark.
