The Sounds are active on the touring circuit. They have toured the United States and been to Finland many times. The first tour occurred in the wake of their 2003 smash "Living in America" (song and s/t LP), showing their budding promise and talent in a modest way. Namely, their touring conditions were a far cry from the sheen of the aforementioned video for the song. To date, the Sounds have been to the "triangle" of Southern Finland, Turku, Tampere and Helsinki, but their upcoming tour in the fall of 2006 will showcase them in additional inland and coastal towns.

An interviewer from the website Afterellen.com characterized Maja as "bisexual" and she accepted his description of her as "a member of the queer community." [http://www.afterellen.com/People/2006/6/maja.html]
