Unspecified source for Image:Windows Update RTM.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Windows Update RTM.png. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:41, 15 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Longhair\talk 07:41, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Windows Vista 5472 Open Dialog.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Windows Vista 5472 Open Dialog.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Asking for help

Hi tezka. Came here to ask your Wikidesign help with this [1]. Especially regarding the fact that you've been changing that very Politics template recently. Thanks in advance. Oh, and great job with all those airports! Now everyone can see we ARE a great aviation country. Cheers,AlexPU 11:32, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think we have to overdo with templates, especially the overwhelming templates in small articles. Cats are important though. Templates may or may not hurt but they are not the prime of Wikipedia anyway. The article about the local government can certainly do without the tl about the national level politics. --Irpen 06:21, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I agree. Look at the message I left at Alex's talk page. — Alex (T|C|E) 06:23, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see it now. I mostly avoid looking there for a couple of reasons. So, that's why I missed your response. --Irpen 06:42, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You see, Alex, my talkpage contains some bare politically-uncorrect TRUTH about his Wikiactions. The truth, found almost nowhere else since he works hard to cover it. In my opinion, Irpen is suffering from understanding the fact that other Wikipedians may read that truth.AlexPU 16:10, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I'm just letting you know. — Alex (T|C|E) 06:43, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ukrainian Wikipedia

Hey, do you feel like helping me out on a few things I'm doing over on the Ukrainian Wikipedia? — Alex (T|C|E) 06:47, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, honestly, I find the international one much more interesting and challenging. Therefore, I only wrote for ua-wiki and ru-wiki one article each. I also have a small extra difficulty due to a lack of a Ukrainian (or Russian for that matter) symbols on any of keyboards that I use but I guess I could try to help you there in the time when I don't have a very pressing need to do something here. Let me know what you want. --Irpen 06:56, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

user page

Heh, if some random person edits my user page solely to increase the vandalism count, does it count as vandalism, but it doesn't need to be reverted because it's correct? Gah, a paradox! :-) -/- Warren 03:08, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Reverted edit

Hey... What did my edit mess up? [2]Alex (T|C|E) 06:39, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately your edit got in the way of me reverting 221.155.127.188's vandalism. I've run AWB over it again. Harryboyles 06:44, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned up the remaining vandalism. Didn't realize it was there. :-) — Alex (T|C|E) 06:48, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All done. Thanks for helping with the reverting and continue the good work you are doing. Harryboyles 06:50, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AWB Edits

Hi, Just to let you know, you shouldnt be doing AWB edits such as this one.

Edits such as that, are classed as 'insignificant' edits, as they do minor changes, which dont help the articles at all. Doing those at the same time as say, typo fixing, and fixing them if a typo is found, is fine.

Try setting AWB to automatically skip pages with no changes, and consider turning on Regextypofix, and using the skip function if no edits are made

Doing many edits like this, can result in you losing your AWB priveledges, which, really, wouldnt be a good thing!

Any Questions? Feel free to ask me on my talk page =)

Re: AlexPU's block

Hi, just so you're informed, if a blocked user uses his talk page for further attacks during the block duration, it can be locked until the block expires, which is a fairly standard practice. -- Grafikm (AutoGRAF) 13:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Revision wars

There is a large revision war going on when uploading images. I have now placed this admonition to discourage users from uploading and reverting it.

This image has been repeatedly reverted by several users (see below). Anyone uploading this image may possibly trigger a revision war. Such users who do this will be blocked without further warning.

Country Flag2 Template

Hey, I was looking at the code only. I think your additions are reasonable, I guess they should be added. Re: Undelete

Ok, I've undeleted Image:Windows Vista logo.svg for now. There is some debate over wheter or not SVG images are acceptable for fair use (since it's easy to achieve good print quality with vector graphics), but I guess it won't hurt to let you take a swing at improving it untill some kind of consensus is reached. --Sherool (talk) 14:27, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Given that this is a copyrighted logo, I don't think converting it to SVG is a particularly bright idea. - Ta bu shi da yu 06:21, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

3RR

I'm considering filing an RFC. Just so you are aware, another anonymous editor doesn't agree with them, neither do I and I wrote most of that article and got it to FA status. But hey, if you're OK with inacccurate information in Wikipedia, that's fine by me also. I can let it slide, I just might stop bothering to worry about this project anymore. - Ta bu shi da yu 06:18, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and what's good for the goose is good for the gander, incidently. I don't suppose you've warned the other parties? Warrens edit description was getting pretty close to a personal attack also, IMO. If you want to go and block me, go ahead. Just shows everything that's wrong with this project. - Ta bu shi da yu 06:20, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Alex,

(50% to compensate for this template looking weird in some articles)

Thanks for your efforts to sort out what prompted the above!  Unfortunately, however, it's had the result of misaligning the flag/symbol display in many if not most country articles. As a workaround, the flag_width parameter is now in place for use in those articles where the flag/symbol spacing isn't working; I'm intrigued to know which article/s these are. Thanks again for your work, David Kernow (talk) 17:51, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

...the template looks weird in this article.
...I liked the old way of using the wikitable for the template better (see the Ukrainian version of the template that I translated). Everything looks fine on that template.
Well, as you probably already know, HTML table syntax is used to avoid pipe-symbol ("|") problems...
Hmm... The bug must be IE-only. Take a look at the template through IE7 if you can.
Yes, looks like it's another IE shortcoming. I made another effort to workaround it, but, as you'll see from the edit summaries, it looks like something as unwieldy as testing for an "IE_width_fix" parameter might be the only kind of solution. I'm not knowledgeable about browser compatibility issues, however, so maybe you or someone you know could suggest something clever and/or more straightforward...?  Pesky IE. Thanks for your patience, David (talk) 02:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I think I got it fixed now. :-)
...and I've just finished trying to center the captions below the images as well. The end – I hope!  Chuckles, thanks and best wishes, David (talk) 12:32, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for alerting me!  Yours, David (talk) 02:34, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. A bit ironic that I was messing with the article trying to figure out what's wrong. By the way, what do you think of the border I proposed around flags? Do you think the change you made (white-space:nowrap) will allow users like Carl Lindberg (see template talk page) to see the template on one line? Please let me know. — Alex(U|C|E) 02:38, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll take a look a little later; right now, I'm just trying to catch up with other messages, emails, etc. {{Border}} seems a little temperamental here (Firefox on PC) but mixing it with white-space:nowrap might make some difference... David (talk) 02:44, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Snet logo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Snet logo.gif. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:37, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Akhristov, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:SOS112.gif) was found at the following location: User:Akhristov/Sandbox. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 19:22, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image question

Could you please take a look at this image? Can it be improved by photoshopping or whatever since it seems hazy. Maybe you would find it more convenient to proceed from the image's original source (listed) out of which the image is cropped. Non-free use disputed for Image:LANlogo.PNG

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:LANlogo.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 00:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:3RR Warning

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 03:37, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The question is what should I do? — Alex(U|C|E) 03:48, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Very simple: pursue the dispute resolution process we have in place. Start by asking a third opinion or by placing a request for comment. Editwarring only stress you out, and makes you lose your editing privileges. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 03:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't online. When in a dispute first thing to do is to make sure no one keeps reverting to their own version. Talk it out first. So, whenever people are pushing their own version, get the article protected. Using WP:RFPP is probably a better option than requesting an admin because the admin might not be online at that time. But if you are sure that s/he is online, personal request will have a quicker response. Keep in mind that protection does not mean endorsement of that version, so if a wrong version is protected (which is always the case, depending on PoV :D) dont mean it cant be changed. If there has been a prior consensus, point that out in the request. The admin will decide if that version has merits to be the protected version. When the article is protected, discuss, preferably on the article talk page. If it does not seem to lead anywhere, call an RfC, invite others to comment and follow the dispute resolution procedure, as Jossi has said.
Regarding the dispute, I am ill suited to make a comment, because I am hardly aware of the subject. But the point made by Kuban kazak (talk · contribs) about breaking consistency seems valid. You should probably invite other editors who contributed to the article to make a comment. Regards, and all the best. --soum talk 07:20, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is fairly similar to the Kiev/Kyiv dispute. As for talking it out, trying to talk it out with him doesn't really work. He goes into personal/national attacks during discussions. — Alex(U|C|E) 07:22, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I noticed that. I am warning the user and reminding him of the consensus clause that we have here. But I think it is time to start and RfC, summarize the previous discussion, and invite others to comment. --soum talk 07:26, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Would it be possible to change all lines and text (text, more importantly) to black? --soum talk
Looks great. :) You deserve this.--soum talk 09:45, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ULP

Hmm... Somehow I'm leaning towards starting Wikipedia:Ukrainian language policy, this is the only language that seems to have those disputes on Wikipedia. You think I should do that? — Alex(U|C|E) 10:36, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not sure calling it a policy this early is not a good idea. But yeah having something to guide in the case of disputes is definitely worth it. IMO, it should be a proposed guideline. I would also suggest you write a first draft in userspace, get a peer review and some support before moving it to the wikipedia namespace. --soum talk 10:45, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I wasn't going to post it to Wikipedia namespace right away. I might have some people from the WikiProject help me out. — Alex(U|C|E) 10:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like a plan. :D You should definitely go for it. Even if nothing comes out, the discussion will be of great help in further disputes. Language disputes are pretty frustrating. You wont believe there has been a huge debate whether Jana Gana Mana (the Indian National Anthem, originally written in Classical Bengali, adopted as the national anthem of a country whose national language is Hindi) should be written in Hindi or Bengali. It cant get any more lame than this!!! :P --soum talk 10:58, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Heh. What are your suggestions for a name, though? :-) — Alex(U|C|E) 11:01, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, tough question. You can start with any name, it can be refined as content gets added. How about "Ukranian naming guideline"? --soum talk 11:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll sleep on it. But I plan to cover more than just naming, maybe something along the lines of "Wikipedia:Ukrainian language guidelines". — Alex(U|C|E) 11:14, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
A generic name is probably better. :) --soum talk 11:20, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll think of something and let you know tomorrow. I'll have you look over it, too, so that it makes sense to somebody unfamiliar with the topic. — Alex(U|C|E) 11:22, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Anyways, I will be signing off now. Cya later. :) --soum talk 11:24, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've put in a my two cents on the Talk:Podilsko-Voskresenska Line, hope you don't mind. Please feel free to add something. I am not very familiar with the metropoliten subject but said something about the languages policy. --Hillock65 19:14, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC at Talk:Microsoft Silverlight#Request for Comment: XAML and SVG issue with Silverlight regarding the validity of a criticism, reffed from an ArsTechnica article. Could you please offer your opinions? --soum talk 16:48, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Akhristov. I've decided to take on your medcab case. If you have any concerns about this, please tell me, otherwise I look forward to resolving the case with you. - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 05:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. Just as a prelim question, are User:Novelbank and User:Hillock65 also "participants" in this case? If yes, I'm going to add them to the involved parties. - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 05:51, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that's great. I've looked over the statements so far, and unless other information comes up, I think I can see a pattern emerging. Looks good. - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 05:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As a last resort, I'll have the basics. I'd prefer it if it was a page that I could run through Google's translator. - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 06:19, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It always looked like it was going to be tricky. But, I think if we can reach consensus on this compromise, or a slightly edited one, we should be done. And if not, I've asked on #wikipedia-medcab that someone come in and look it over. If they can't fix it, you may have to go to WP:RFM, which would be bad for everyone involved. Here's hoping... - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 23:38, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please reconsider resigning from this case. If you do, I really doubt you're going to give up editing metro related articles all together, right? In which case, you'll continue to encounter this, and another MEDCAB (or higher) case will be likely. I think we're nearing a compromise, please give it one or two more days. - G1ggy Talk/Contribs 07:17, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SVG

Hey, which format do I export in from Inkscape? Stealing your trade secrets (:D), I downloaded Inkscape yesterday and drew something, which is rendering fine in Inkscape, and also exporting fine as a raster image. But when I am uploading the SVG (plain SVG), its getting all screwed up. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Here is the source (Inkscape SVG) file. --soum talk 07:17, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, one thing MediaWiki really hates is flowed text. Try not to use it that much, use regular text boxes. Also, remember to set the page size to the same as your drawing's size. I'm fixing it right now for you. By the way, it is best to save as Plain SVG. — Alex(U|C|E) 08:06, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll take a look at it tomorrow, it's late here. You can see my attempt to fix it here. — Alex(U|C|E) 08:50, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. :) I think I can fix the rest myself. Good night. --soum talk 08:53, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Finally its done. Thanks a ton. . --soum talk 09:34, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mediation case

Hello, Akhristov. Just posting to let you know that I won't be involving myself in your mediation case, as I want to remain impartial and don't really have anything to contribute beyond the third opinion. But I hope that it brings a positive outcome for both you and Kuban Cossack. Kind regards, Adrian M. H. 22:12, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not understand your last revert. Тот факт, что Слобожанщина перешла под контроль Росси в 1500 году у вас вызывает удивление? Это надо доказывать или что надо доказывать? --Russianname 04:42, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Russianname 04:48, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ну и какая разница, что на русском? Вы же понимаете по-русски и можете проверить и кто угодно может проверить, любой пользователь с Украины. С другой стороны, по-английски пишут далеко не обо всем. --Russianname 04:52, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Елки-палки, Алекс, ну что за ерунда про большинство людей - и вы понимаете и Хиллок понимает. И что это за бред, что уже оспариваются вобще все факты? Это, что троллинг, скажите? Это издевательство уже какое-то? --Russianname 04:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to bother you, but since you edited the article Russians in Ukraine, I was wondering if you have an opinion on the serious violation of the WP:POINT there[3]. I'd like to hear your opinion about it before I file it on the ANB. Thanks in advance. --Hillock65 18:01, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kuban Kazak

No administrators have commented yet... Not sure what to do about it. — Alex(U|C|E) 14:35, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same for the WP:RFP request... — Alex(U|C|E) 14:40, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I dont think AN/I is the best place to discuss this. It does not refer to any individual incident (or incidents), but rather an users behavior in general. Admins generally discuss specific incidents at AN/I. WP:RFC#Request comment on users is probably the best place. People specializing in handling such disputes partol that. And consensus is reached faster there. If no consensus can be reached there, ArbCom can be approached. Their decisions are binding. You may also bring up the issue on WP:AN. All the best.
As for RFP, I dont see any pending requests. Do you want it protected? I see only one attempt recently. I dont think it warrants protection, not yet. I am watchlisting the article. --soum talk 14:55, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey man, its perfectly fine with me. If you need any help, you are always welcome. Even if I cant do anything else, I can at least try to point you to the right place where you can find help. :) --soum talk 05:52, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is the medcabal nearing any solution? If so, then I think you should wait for a few days. If not, there is no need to wait. --soum talk 06:01, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In tha case, you might wait a day or two before the RfC. --soum talk 06:05, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How kind of you

[4] So returning grammatical mistakes is good quality, as is putting it later on WP:AN/I. Let I remind you that you left the Medcab instead of continuing to search for consensus in that article, yet you don't mind reverting again and again. That is low и подло... --Kuban Cossack 16:17, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Windows Server 2008 logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Windows Server 2008 logo.jpg. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 09:07, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Need your help, again

Where is the black rectangle at the bottom of this image coming from? --soum talk 09:25, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the font tip :) And I found out what was wrong with the image. There was no flowed text (actually there was nothing there), but I converted the text to path at that position then translated it elsewhere. Seems like MediaWiki does not like that either.
And I am waiting for some other comments before putting my own at the RfC. --soum talk 09:54, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. :) --soum talk 10:10, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Its BetaCommandBot that seems to have grown a special dislike of me. :D --soum talk 10:13, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The same notability criterion as applied to other articles, applies to this also. If there are a handful of mainstream media reports (at least two or three) then this can have an article, without any problems. --soum talk 10:25, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfC

I was wondering if you had a chance to read this latest masterpiece. Please note Personal Attacks as well as insults in English and a foreign language. I suggest this should be included in RfC as evidence of persistent Incivility and Bad Faith. Alas, I am too busy to attend to this right now. Good luck. --Hillock65 22:01, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the RfC that you have started is not filled out properly. Please have a look at completed RfC. I think you need to present Evidence of trying and failing to resolve the dispute just below where I did and Novelban at #3. Provide diffs of trying to reason with KK. Also you need to put your name under Users certifying the basis for this dispute, just below my name. If there is something else, please let me know. --Hillock65 22:25, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Its okay except that Desired outcome is not needed anymore. And when presenting evidence of trying to resolve the issue, its better to add a summary of the discussion in a line or two. --soum talk 07:53, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You caught me when I was going through all the discussions and user logs :) Anyways, in the Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Kuban kazak#Evidence of trying and failing to resolve the dispute section, just after each link place a short one liner summary of what was discussed on the link and result, if any. --soum talk 08:01, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Its fine now. Btw, by any chance would you happen to be near a Windows Vista system now? If so, can you upload a screenshot of the Search Explorer (the search interface that opens when the search button, not the search bar, in the start menu is clicked)? I have Vista only on my desktop and I am currently out of town (so out of luck :) ). Thanks in advance. --soum talk 08:10, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, I forgot to mention, the advanced search flyout should be open. Sorry. You take your time, theres no hurry. I will take care of rationales et al. I am really sorry about the botheration. The motherboard in the laptop I generally use (which does run Vista) crashed a week back. Since then I am on my ex-laptop (:P). Its a pain to work on a machine with 512 megs RAM, even though it runs XP MCE. --soum talk 08:27, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. And I got the hint, I will shut up right now. :P --soum talk 08:38, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(outdent?)I was just kidding :) I am currently writing a response to the RfC, when I a done, I will check it out. --soum talk 08:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wait for a few more comments. If consensus on what to do is clear (talk will ensue on the summaries), a non involved admin will enforce the decision. If no consensus is made, it can be moved up to ArbCom. --soum talk 09:07, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Congrats. :D --soum talk 09:29, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The new evidence sounds fun. Good night. Cya l8r. --soum talk 12:22, 23 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
