Taniela Tuiaki (born 2 May, 1985 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional rugby league player for the Wests Tigers in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) competition. His position of choice is at wing. Tuiaki is one of the hardest players to tackle and got the nickname, the human wrecking ball because he is almost unstoppable at full speed.
Tuiaki represented Tonga in two international matches against England in 2006, scoring a try in each game. [1] [2]
In October, 2007, Tuiaki was cleared to play for New Zealand against Australia in the 2007 Centenary Test. [3] He went on to play in the three match series loss to the Great Britain Lions in England in October-November 2007, scoring a try in the final game.[4]
