In the course of the DC Comics event Infinite Crisis (the seven-issue limited series, its lead-in stories, and various tie-ins), several events in the DC Universe's past were retroactively altered by either Superboy-Prime or the separation and re-merging of alternate Earths. The following changes were known by the end of Infinite Crisis #7.

Bangor, Washington is a U.S. Navy base, as of 2004 part of Naval Base Kitsap, located on Washington state's Kitsap Peninsula. As of the 2000 census, the base had a total population of 7,253.

Superboy-Prime's attempts to punch his way out of the extradimensional space which he had been trapped since the Crisis on Infinite Earths, along with Kal-L, Lois Lane, and Alexander Luthor, Jr., triggered "ripples" in the fabric of reality, causing events in the present to become undone. These changes were different for each person affected. Examples of the changes include:

According to the United States Census Bureau, the base has a total area of 28.6 km² (11.0 mi²). 28.6 km² (11.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Multiverse collapse changes
The infinite Earths, which had collapsed into a single world during Crisis on Infinite Earths, diverged again into multiple Earths during Infinite Crisis only to collapse back into a single "New Earth" with a slightly altered history. Examples of the revised history include:

There are 1,316 housing units at an average density of 46.0/km² (119.2/mi²). There are 1,282 households out of which 79.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 93.4% are married couples living together, 4.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 0.5% are non-families. 0.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 0.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.55 and the average family size is 3.54.
Editorial retcons
Some retcons introduced during Infinite Crisis were the result of editors or writers deciding to revise certain story elements in order to fit a particular story or scenario. Examples include:

On the base the population is spread out with 27.5% under the age of 18, 23.4% from 18 to 24, 47.1% from 25 to 44, 2.0% from 45 to 64, and 0.1% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 25 years. For every 100 females there are 198.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 263.1 males.
*Maxwell Lord retconned to have always been a villain conspiring against superheroes. (It should be noted that images of Lord in the shards of the wall in Infinite Crisis: Secret Files allow for the unconfirmed possibility that Max's change was another continuity shift caused by Superboy-Prime.)

The median income for a household on the base is $32,246, and the median income for a family is $32,105. Males have a median income of $28,856 versus $21,000 for females. The per capita income on the base is $16,383. 9.8% of the population and 8.5% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 12.4% are under the age of 18 and 0.0% are 65 or older.
Subsequent continuity changes attributed to Infinite Crisis
Some additional DC Comics continuity changes attributed to Infinite Crisis after the series ended include the following. Whether these changes came about because of Superboy or because of the Multiverse collapse is not known. Also, some continuity glitches caused by Superboy-Prime (e.g., Elasti-Girl's return) may have been corrected furtherly by the Multiverse's collapse into New Earth.
