I'm fairly certain that "I shall have been gone to the store" is improper English. "I shall have been gone by the time you return" is correct. The confusion is in the two uses of "gone." One means "absent" and the other means "to go." You may only combine "been" with the first, and not the second form.KyleGoetz 03:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
