This is a list of all the franchises that have won the American Football Conference (AFC) Championship Game. The AFC is one of two conferences (with the National Football Conference (NFC)) that make up the National Football League. The winner of the Championship Game goes on to face the winner of the NFC Championship Game in the annual Super Bowl, which is held in a neutral location.
- ^ Sudden-death overtime
- ^ Joe Robbie Stadium now Dolphin Stadium is located in Miami Gardens. However the city was not incorporated until 2003. Prior to that, the area was an unincorporated part of Miami-Dade County, and the stadium used a Miami address.
