cleanup-tone

This was tagged for cleanup, citing the tone of the article. I think that was a bit much: it did read as a telling of the story rather than as a neutral, factual article. I cleaned it up a little, what stands is still a factual telling of a well-documented story. It could do with toning down a bit more, and with more references (there are plenty), particularly re the claim to have influenced the repeal of capital punishment. But the article is fundamentally sound and makes no obvious false claims. Just zis Guy you know? 12:11, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
