The Black Dahlia Murder is a melodic death metal band from Detroit, Michigan. Their influences include At The Gates and Carcass, and their music largely makes use of the unique Gothenburg metal sound. The band is named after the unsolved murder of actress Elizabeth Short who was often referred to as The Black Dahlia.
