Pat Miller (dog trainer)

Patricia Miller (born Oct. 14, 1951, Springfield, IL) is a nationally recognized[1][2] American dog trainer noted for her experience in clicker training. She operates a dog training facility, Peaceable Paws[3], in Fairplay, MD[4].

Biography

Miller was born in Springfield, IL and graduated from high school in Vestal, NY after her stepfather Harold L. Nieburg had accepted a position at SUNY Binghamton. She worked at the Marin Humane Society in California for 20 years[5]

She is the author of many articles (particularly in Whole Dog Journal)[6] and several books, including The Power of Positive Dog Training[7] and Positive Perspectives: Love Your Dog, Train Your Dog [8] and its sequel.
