ProudMallu, it seems there is technical issue. This article was deleted once due to notability issues and was redirected into Prithviraj Sukumaran. See [1]. Now the subject is notable and deserves an independent article. So you may dicsuss this issue with an admin or the editor who closed the [2] discussion. Im not that much experienced in dealing with situations like this. I am still learning things. When the problem is fixed, you can come to me. I will accept it. Sierrafoltz, first of all, please open a new thread while starting a new discussion. This will get archived soon at any moment. Now lets come to the point. I havent said that you were paid to create this. You have provided only 3 sources in the draft out of which, two of them are just a list of awards. Another one is a list of books published by this person. That is not sufficient to establish GNG. The subject should be covered in-depth in multiple relibale sources to have an independent article, where in this case, it clearly fails to do it. Thats why I declined it. Wayanadan, I only accepted the article because Sajan has got significant coversge from reliable sources like The Hindu. But I would like to ask you one question. Are you connected to the subject or have you been paid to create it. Because an admin has expressed a concern to me and bas marked it as unreviewed, which means it has to be reviewed by a New page reviewer. So, first of all, you need to rearrange the sources in an appropriate manner. Dont put all the sources together in one place as it may be misinterpreted as WP:REFBOMB. The second point is that the tone of the article slightly refelcts like a resume. Though its not a major issue here. But you need to fix that also. What should I do? Previously when I wrote about CV Harris mash by referring malayalam version of wikipedia and news articles, it got approval with some grammatical correction by fellow editors. Kashmorwiki, despite the harassment, please do not ever nominate an article at AFD to set "a honeytrap". It's abusing the deletion process to prove a point. If there is misconduct, present your case on a noticeboard or contact an admin (which you did), you don't need to play games like this to "catch" an editor. It wastes the time of other editors who participated in these AFDs. You are doing too much good work to do these stunts. Please do not repeat this, even if you are provoked. Liz, you may please have look at those AFD's. Honeytrap was just another side of a coin. These two articles were declined at AFC. And this user created the exact copy. So what Im suppposed to do? I am a user who always tries to remove such articles from this encyclopedia. Basically this is not a play game to "catch" an editor. Those two definetly deserved AFD nom. So I thought, why cant I also use this opportunity for catching a sock. Thats what exactly happened. Please go through the entire set of events and my past AFD noms. Another editor has confirmed also that I was right in this case. See [11] ( Also pinging Beccaynr here). And this guy has been finally blocked for sockpuppetry. I somehow missed the ping, but I'm glad I decided to stalk your page. I have gone on at length in the AfDs about how I feel that they are brought in good faith, and therefore WP:NOTPOINTy, i.e. just because someone is making a point does not mean that they are disrupting Wikipedia to illustrate that point. As a rule, editors engaging in "POINTy" behavior are making edits with which they do not actually agree, for the deliberate purpose of drawing attention and provoking opposition in the hopes of making other editors see their "point", and perhaps it bears mentioning here that I have !voted keep on both and I am happy to debate and discuss the merits of the articles, because I think we have a good faith difference of opinion about how to interpret the notability guidelines. I don't view these articles as particularly different from your usual pattern with regard to AfD nominations, even though they happened to help you protect Wikipedia. That may be why I interpret your phrase "something like a honeytrap" in the context of your usual conduct as an editor - you were doing what you do, and it happened to expose a problematic situation. I think the context matters, and it includes your work as an editor generally, the disclosures you made in the specific AfDs, the specific phrasing you used at ANI, and the way that notability guidelines are open to interpretation, perhaps especially for the specific articles we've been debating. From my view, just because you described the articles as "something like a honeytrap" does not undermine the good faith basis that otherwise exists for the AfD, so it seems WP:NOTPOINTy. Thankyou Beccaynr for deeply understanding who I am and how I tries to contribute to this encyclopedia. Its really hard to accept when someone accuses you for the things that you actually dont know about. I was really frustrated when some users misinterpreted my actions. You know me very well, because both of us have participated in several AFD discussions. Despite we mutually disagree with our opinions, we always share mutual respect and thats the way things should go on. But some users take such things personally and thats where things goes in wrong direction. I had always wondered how much time you are spending to save some articles, by doing a brief WP:Before and some researchs. I am already fed up due to some real life issues. This project now plays a important part in my life and for the past few days, I almost had a bad time here too. For the first time as an editor here, I was personally harrassed by Abhivadhyah (Im glad he and his socks are blocked now). I had to entirely waste my couple of days dealing with him and his socks. Im totally tired now and needs a break. So Im planning to have a wikibreak to freshen up my mind inorder to have a fresh restart. But there are some areas which needs my attention. Gadagasu, you provided 15 sources out of which this[12] and [13] this seems to have given atleast any least coverage. But we need significant coverage. Also Im not convinced with the reliability of these ones. Yes they are independent, but is not giving enough sigcov and is not reliable. So I would advice you to remove all the unwanted sources so that WP:REFBOMB can be avoided and provide only the necessary ones. Dear friend, you only need to show the any 3 best sources to establish notability. And regarding the tone, if you fix these problems mentioned, I will definetly give it out a try. Imdavid21, I did not day its promotional. What I said was it almost looks like an advertisement. The draft is written from the viewpoint of the company, focusing on what the company says about itself, meaning its basically just an advertisement. I have read the hyperlinks that you had posted on the note. While writing my article I have tried to use reliable sources like famous websites or websites that are visited frequently by users. This article is about an Indian footballer who was not much in the news, therefore, I could not get any website links which mentioned he has signed for that particular club, but there are articles in the paper which shows either he is in the team or scored a goal or played a match for the team. These articles were written for the club he played for rather than himself. So there is only a line mentioned on him. Please let me know whether referencing these articles were the problem ?

I have come up with a solution, I am thinking to remove all paragraphs from the article and just keep the paragraph of Sudeva FC. Because I have solid links (I league website) to support that paragraph ? Will this be okay ? (But again, these links will be showing he is in the starting 11, or been substituted.)

But unfortunately, there are no sources to prove that and I declined the draft just to avoid the backlog and to let you know that, reliable source need to be shown to establish his notability. Definetely Vikram. So much amount of thrashes exist here (mainly some politicians and some educational institutions) and thats the main reason I came back so fast. I wanna make this encyclopedia neat and clean. I also reviwed a huge load of Wikiproject India related drafts submiitted at AFC, thus clearing the heavy backlog. Only a few them were moved into mainspace. Still some more articles exist there, which I am unable to review due to my less experience in some areas. It would be really great if somebody like you with some experience at AFD also joins the project. You have 90 percent success rate at AFD discussions whereas mine is 86. Still, it should be made public in my opinion. One match, seven, or 200 is irrelevant, it is still presenting accurate information (matches from 2020 to present), and will potentially keep growing to have dozens of games. You migh want to have a look at this India national football team results (2010–2019). The complete matches of Indian team during this 10 year period have been described in detail. And in the case of India national football team results (2020–2029), only one match has been played so far like you said. But the complete schedule till september has been written in detail as much as possible, so it does not seems to be so short. In the case of Scotland national football team results (1872–1914), it dates back to matches played around 150 years back. So is it possible to get the completed details during that time.? It is 2021 now and when we create an article like this, try to make it with the minimum required details so that the readers can get a better idea abou this. Just to add my two cents here. I agree that the article needs more context but I disagree with what you mean by context. Context does not mean every match in detail, that would be WP:INDISCRIMINATE. Context means additional prose at the start of the list to explain what the Italy women's national football team is, the competitions they compete in and an overview of the results during the period. There has also been extensive discussion about the use of football box templates in these articles and it has been agreed here, here and here as well as this featured list nomination that a table should be used as it fits with MOS:LIST and WP:WHENTABLE. He has been neither elected as an MP or MLA or not even in any local body. So in that case, he must satisfy the general WP:GNG criteria and this person clearly fails it. Just being mentioned in some relibale and independent sources doesnt make anyone notable. The subject should have significant coverage also, where in this case, this person dont have. Means a politician even if he is local party politician or big level politician, can't be considered as notable unless he would have MP or MLA. A similar example of this exists here. Biman Bose. TTP1233, I know you are disappointed because of the draft got declined. Dont be upset. This encyclopedia works on the policy that inorder for a subject to have an independent article, it should pass GNG. The reasons like he is famous by his thoughts have no value here unless you provide reliable sources. A politician passes GNG if he/she is elected as an MLA or MP by virtue of WP:NPOL. But for other politicians like this, they must satisfy the general GNG criteria if they are not elected. If you can provide atleast one reliblae source, which gives this person the in-depth coverage (about his life, career and achievements in a biogrophical manner) or multiple sources combined giving this coverage, I might be able to help you. And regarding the other article you showed, you may nominate it for AFD if you feel it fails GNG. As an AFC reviewer, my only duty is to check whether the draft is ready to be moved into mainspace, and dont need to be concerned about similiar other articles. Regards. TTP1233, the source from quint is just giving some incidential coverage. But the second source seems quite good. It is giving some coverage to the subject. But the problem is that many of the articles of such local politicians have been deleted in the past. I have concerns whethere this will survive at AFD. Have a looo at this [21]. If you think that article is just for single event, it is wrong. Since 2013 he played an important factor in big election sessions in West Bengal. Check a bunch of some sources on [23]. I am reminded of the Sindhu Joy AfD, but I am also concerned about so many Times of India references in the Controversy section, because per WP:TOI, The Times of India is considered to have a reliability between no consensus and generally unreliable. It tends to have a bias in favor of the Indian government, and especially for an article about a politician, that seems problematic. Also, as a more general matter, I think it is helpful for BLPs to have a Career section, with a focus on accomplishments, and typically for the article to begin with an Early life and education section. Without this kind of content, the focus on the Controversy seems disproportionate per WP:PROPORTION, because it is currently the largest section of the article. I say this not because I think that they are the best sources ever, but because some articles like Eagles-Washington only have 1 source, and at least in my opinion it is just as reliable as mine. Regarding WP:NMUSIC, there are 12 criterias under which a subject can come in and I dont think this person is coming under any of it. WP:NMUSIC also says that the Works consisting merely of trivial coverage, such as articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings are not considered to establish GNG. Static Hash, you should have given these sources in the draft itself rather than showing it here. An AFC reviewer will only analyse the sources given in the article. Even though I still dont these sources are sufficient to pass GNG. The following is my analysis of these sources.

Aarya, if you meant this [31], there is no issue if you share your opinion in the talk page in an appropriate manner. The notice you recieved clearly says that It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date. So its just for giving you a precaution. Because topics related to religion and all are very sensitive and you have to be careful while dealing with them. If you make any major changes to such articles, its very important that you provide the best reliable sources available. Hello! My draft has been returned for not meeting the standards, which I understand is normal. But I want to understand what specifically is the matter. Another user pointed to me, for instance, that on regards of Dr. Viðar's book, I should use footnotes that refer to peer review of his research (I haven't gotten around to that yet, but it should be easy). But I wonder if there's anything else that "jumps to your eyes" as out of place, so I can work on that. MMilanezi, the only major problem in that draft is that the person is not getting enough significant coverage to have an article of his own. This is one of the core policies of this encyclopedia. I kindly request you to have a look at WP:GNG, understand the policies and modify the draft according to that. Let me know if you have any concerns. Regards.
