The 2021 United States Josh fight was held on Saturday, April 3, 2020 at approximately 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in a field on the outskirts of Lincoln, Nebraska. The Infinity Party ticket of Hollywood actor Josh Brolin and his Infinity Gauntlet defeated Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf running on the Democratic Party ticket, and U.S Senator from Missouri Josh Hawley and U.S Representative from Georgia's 14th congressional district Marjorie Taylor Greene of the Republican Party ticket. In order to be more interactive than initially planned, organizer Josh Swain decided to involve legions of American supporters for each Josh to join the fight on each side through both combat and voting. Josh Brolin won 269 of the 538 electoral votes at stake. However, since the sheer chaos of the Josh fight destroyed the state of Nebraska, it was deemed that this state's electoral votes did not count. Thus, Brolin won the Josh fight with a slim majority. As a result of losing the fight, Shapiro and Hawley were forced to relinquish their names and change them to Ben and Hee respectively. Both losing candidates immediately claimed the election was rigged, saying in a joint statement that Josh Brolin "used his running mate to defy the laws of nature" to ensure a victory. Ben Shapiro confirmed the next day that despite the "national embarrassment" of sharing his name with a conservative commentator, he would still be open to a run for governor of Pennsylvania in 2022. On April 29th, Hee Hawley said that the Josh fight was secretly organized by Democrats to give him such a name, and vows to help Republicans regain control of both houses of Congress in 2022 to get his revenge.
