The Great British Breakfast is a British breakfast television show which began broadcasting on the GB News channel at 6am on 14 June 2021.[1]

History

In March 2021, it was revealed that television presenters Nana Akua, Kirsty Gallacher, Rebecca Hutson, Inaya Folarin Iman, Darren McCaffrey and Rosie Wright would be working together to present The Great British Breakfast.[2] The show will broadcast every day, and is expected to have a conservative stance which is in line with the news channel.[3] The programme format will take on a similar style to Fox News' Fox & Friends.[4]

"Journalism is my first love and I'm thrilled to be getting back into the heart of it at GB News," Gallacher said. "The channel has an amazing energy and excitement and there's a real spirit of innovation there. It'll definitely look and feel different, I think."[4]
