Hey Lady! DYK ideas?

Do you have any ideas for a DYK for Hey Lady! ? – Reidgreg (talk) 18:04, 4 April 2021 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks, Bearcat, for your help with the Michael Harris page. "Editor" isn't an accurate disambiguation, so I've moved the page to "Michael John Harris" to include a middle name. There aren't any job titles that are unique enough so this seems like the best solution.Vancouverharris (talk) 02:09, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

alternative options for Gisto page?

Hi Bearcat.. Thank you for reviewing my Gisto draft.. I'm trying the Stub option.. any thoughts on that? Meehowski (talk) 18:50, 4 April 2021 (UTC)Meehowski

Hi Bearcat, upon review of the WP:NM criteria, I believe that there are 2 categories that Gisto satisfies as a notable musician:

  • NMUSIC#6 "...is a musician who has been a reasonably prominent member of two or more independently notable ensembles...", Gisto was featured with the following prominant and notable musicians in his albums and videos: Capleton, Gyptian, Lutan Fyah, Sizzla, and Mishka (musician)..
  • NMUSIC#12 "Has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or television network." Gisto has had a featured TV interview on Hype TV (Jamaica's version of MTV).[1]

Please reconsider Gisto's AfC. Meehowski (talk) 17:58, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Meehowski

Canadian women curators

Hi Bearcat. What would you say to creating a new category for Canadian women curators? I would do it myself but I am not that familiar with how to make categories.--- Possibly (talk) 19:29, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Your move of Curtis J. Jones Jr.

Hi Bearcat. I moved this article to mainspace because I realized I didn't need to submit to the AFC queue because my account has sufficient experience to create articles anyway. An honest mistake on my part submitting to AFC in the first place. This article has already been rated C by another user; I think that proves it's a fine article as is and I'm continuing to improve it. Could you please move it back? DYK for Hey Lady!

On 17 April 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hey Lady!, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Hey Lady! is Jayne Eastwood's first leading role in a 50-year career? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hey Lady!. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Hey Lady!), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

G11

Hello, fellow Canadian! Mind explaining this puzzling edit summary? I don't see anywhere in WP:G11 where it says that this criterion does not apply to drafts; in fact WP:GCSD says quite the contrary. Promotional vanity spam draft pages are also frequently deleted under this criterion so I don't know what else you might have been thinking of. Mind explaining? Curious question about your edits on Hip Hop Evolution

Hi hi,

I'm curious about your edits on the Hip Hop Evolution Wiki Page. Was wondering how you knew that the production budget was 2,5Mil? and if that budget was per episode or for all seasons? I'm a filmmaker and just trying to price things. Untiluntil (talk) 13:05, 27 April 2021 (UTC)

Jax Anderson/Flint Eastwood

Is there a way to swap the page name for Flint Eastwood? At present, Jax Anderson redirects to Flint Eastwood. Flint Eastwood was the band name for several years, but in 2019, Jax announced that she would use her birth name instead of a stage name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Significa liberdade (talkcontribs) 13:37, 1 May 2021 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for your nomination of Francie Swift for deletion and also thank you for recognizing the work that went into updating the article, sources added. It was a good nomination and we need more of them. The article still needs work and my hope is that it will not be left alone now that your nomination was withdrawn but will continue to be improved. --ARoseWolf 17:01, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

CFCH-FM radio signs on

I guess the person who created the article for CFCH-FM in North Bay, Ontario spoke to soon! Vista launched the new radio station on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 with a country music format branded as Country 90.5, so I updated the CFCH-FM draft. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:CFCH-FM
