Fenrir (Japanese: フェンリル, Hepburn: Fenriru) is a Japanese manga illustrated by Mioko Onishi and based on a creation of Chūgaku Akamatsu (Aria the Scarlet Ammo).[2] It was first published by Square Enix in Big Gangan magazine in 2018.
Development and release
The manga is the product of an original creation by Chūgaku Akamatsu , the author of Aria the Scarlet Ammo.[3] The illustrator of the serialization was Mioko Onishi , the author, among others, of Boku boku sensei and Batoru rowaiaru tenshi-tachi no kokkyō .[1] It was first released on August 25, 2018.[1] Fenrir was released in the monthly Big Gangan, volume 9. The same volume also featured the debut of another serialization, namely Nana Hoshi and Tachibana (ナナホシとタチバナ) by Sayaka Ameno.[1]
Plot
The manga is set in 12th-century Mongolia. The Mongols are divided in several tribes and Temjin, whose father is the chief of the Kiyat clan, meets a mysterious girl by chance. Their meeting will affect the whole world.[3][4][1]

Main
- Temjin (テムジン)
- The son of a chieftain of the Kiyat; he works hard and has a kind heart.[3]
- Behter (ベクテル)
- He is the half brother of Temjin. Behter is elected the new chief of his and his brother's clan.[3]
- Borte (ボルテ)
- Temjin's love interest and future wife. She is from the Ongirat tribe.[3]
