The article Renpin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOT (dictionary)

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 08:57, 29 May 2010 (UTC) Hello, please teach me how to be acceptable about my recent changes on Renpinism, Renpinist and RP. Chuwentao888[reply]

I have nominated Renpin, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Renpin. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 10:51, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, please teach me how to be acceptable about my recent changes on Renpinism, Renpinist and RP. Chuwentao888

A tag has been placed on Repinism requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --moreno oso (talk) 11:01, 29 May 2010 (UTC) Hello, please teach me how to be acceptable about my recent changes on Renpinism, Renpinist and RP. • I do not think tat there is any way; the subject is listed for deletion as being a dictionary definition about a subject with no google hits, which is therefore either wholly non-notable or non-existent. It is your choice, but my advice is to edit on other topics. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 14:07, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yeah, you are right. Maybe I have to make a web about Renpin to make sure that this topic do exist for English-speaking users on the Internet

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zhangkang0722 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. Moocha (talk) 20:21, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Sorry, Wikipedians. I am new here and was not very clear about your policy for inclusion. Please unblock me. I promise I won' t edit anything before it does exist on the Internet

Decline reason:

You are blocked for abusing multiple accounts; until you can explain that I don't see you being unblocked. Tim Song (talk) 20:06, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

User:Zhangkang0722 is one of my friends who is also concerned with the topic Renpin. We discussed and hoped this new Chinese religion can be known by more people. It won't do me any good to ask for unblocking if I want to register more accounts.

Hold on

[edit]

Chuwentao I am looking into your case.

Here's the basic problem: this is the English WIkipedia, and it's hard for use to use sources that are not in English, although we can an do do so sometimes. My Chinese is very poor, and I cannot read your first source, while the second source appears to be just someone's blog. Getting translations done is very difficult and is generally reserved only for very important cases.

Because of this, it is probably going to be impossible for us to accept "Renpin" as real and notable phenomena, until such time as references appear in English. Also, if I am reading you correctly, the claim that this is an "internet religion" makes us very suspicious that "Renpin" is some kind of hoax or non-notable entity made up my some small group of persons.

There is nothing that you can do about this, unless you provide better sources. You must not continue to create articles on "Renpin" and related phenomena, OK?

I recommend that if and when you are unblocked that you contribute in other areas and learn more about how the English Wikipedia works before attempting to create articles. Read WP:N, for instance. Herostratus (talk) 19:19, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you are right. My plan next to make a web about Renpin to make sure that this topic do exist for English-speaking users on the Internet. Will that work?

Ah

[edit]

Ah, it appears that you are also User:Zhangkang0722. Is this true? It is usually strictly forbidden for one user to have more than one account. Are you User:Zhangkang0722? Herostratus (talk) 05:46, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, User:Zhangkang0722 is one of my friends who is also concerned with the topic Renpin. We discussed and hoped this new Chinese religion can be known by more people. User Kimilime and IP220.234.54.150 are my other two friends, please don't block them either.

Decline reason:

From what you've written, it sounds like Renpin is a religion that was created online but has not yet become well-known, even in China. I looked at the sources you cited, and although I don't read the language, those sites looked more like social networking sites or forums than reliable sources like newspapers or magazines. It doesn't appear that Renpin meets Wikipedia's notability criteria at this time. Since that's the only subject you're interested in writing about, there is not a good reason to unblock this account today. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 02:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please take note of two important facts. Firstly, editing using more than one account is called sockpuppetry, is not allowed, and will probsably get you blocked from editing here for ever. Secondly, web-based sources alone tend not to be regarded as valid here. I do not understand why you have this determination to create articles on Renpin. As things stand you are not going to be allowed to do so. Why do you not edit on other topics? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
