Chauhan is a village in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. Chauhan Village Took it's Name By the Gujjar Caste. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from district headquarter Jalandhar and 170 kilometres (110 mi) from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
