"Words" is a song by Swedish DJ Alesso featuring Swedish singer Zara Larsson.It was released on 22 April,2022 by 10:22PM Records.The song is a dance-pop, house and electropop tune, written by Alesso , Karen Poole, Becky Hill and Larsson, and produced by Alesso.It is the first time that the both Swedish music artist collaborate.
Background
According to the interview at Entertainment Tonight,Alesso said he had always wanted to collaborate with Zara and want to find someone that can really carry dance records,that he think Zara have strong voice,so it is a start for them to write and record the song in Sweden.[1]
Before the song was released,Alesso posted a short video on TikTok about dancing with a woman in visuals and asking fans to guess who will be the next features[1][2],and some of the fans figured out it is Zara.
Music video
Alesso said that the shoot the music video is to find the idea to fits both of their worlds and there's are two worlds of beauty then the rave.And the video is greek mythology inspired scenario.[1]
