Devo was a New wave music band from Akron, Ohio which featured science fiction themes and discordant synthesized pop structures in their music. The band was as well known for their costumes as for their music, dressing in yellow chemical-protection suits for one album and tour.

Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerry Casale, the two most visible members, have gone on to do theme music for television programs and video games.

Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! (1978). Their debut album featured an eerie cover of the Rolling Stones hit "Satisfaction", as well as "Jocko Homo", Devo's theme song and anthem.
