Kerrica Hill (born 6 March 2005) is a Jamaican track and field athlete. She won gold medals at the 2022 IAAF World Junior Championships in the 100 metres hurdles and the 4 x 100m relay. Prior to this, she had won relay gold at the 2021 Championship in Nairobi.
Career
Hill attended Hydel High School in Jamaica. Hill was competing for them when she broke the world under-18 record for the 100m hurdles, recording 12.71 seconds in April, 2022.[1]
Hill set a new championship record time of 12.77 seconds as she won the 100 metres hurdles at the 2022 IAAF World Junior Championships in Cali, Colombia.[2][3] Speculation followed soon after the championships that Hill could be about to turn professional.[4][5]
