Strawberries of gratitude!

Thank you for reviewing and approving my page for the Jack White song "Taking Me Back"! It was my first time ever making a brand new Wikipedia page, so I really appreciate it being approved. Thanks again and have a nice day! Victorvictorww (talk) 22:20, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

asking for your suggestions

Hello, @HitroMilanese, May I ask for your opinion about the Draft:psychologs? Thanks! Gauravdelhi.wiki (talk) 12:56, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Gauravdelhi.wiki
Hello there,
For acceptance of this draft you need to demonstrate notability. Please point out top three sources where this topic has received significant coverage. The sources must be reliable and independent of the subject. You may list those sources on the talk page of the draft. Reviewers will consider those sources before taking any decision. Please let me know when you do so. Regards. Hitro talk 05:57, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@HitroMilanese

Blocking of the Subject of Concert musicians

Why did HitroMilanese block an article of a legit musician with standing? Musiceditorguild (talk) 16:45, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Musiceditorguild
Hello there,
If you are referring to Draft:Congyu Wang then please check my comment on the submission. Regards. Hitro talk 05:59, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Where is the comment? There are sufficient verified sources on national news agencies that published numerous articles about this artist. Is there a way you can unblock this submission? We are trying to re-edit and cite this article Musiceditorguild (talk) 09:01, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Musiceditorguild
Comment is just below the decline notice. The time when I declined the draft it appeared like this.
There is nothing like blocking or unblocking of the submission. Anyone is free to edit the draft and submit it for review. At present, the draft is already submitted for review and sooner or later any reviewer will review it.
Apart from that, it appears that you have a "Conflict of Interest" with the subject. Who are "we"? Are you a group of editors trying to publish this article? Before making further edits see WP:ROLE as well as WP:CONFLICT and disclose your association with the subject as per Wikipedia guidelines. I have left elaborated notice about COI editing on your talk page too. Regards. Hitro talk 10:21, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! We haven no relation with any specific artists. I am writing from a foundation based in France. Where can we prove our identity on wikipedia? 154.67.92.212 (talk) 02:33, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Real Jane Austen

Hey, thanks for dropping the note on my talk page. I noticed your account is as old as mine, the only difference is that I rarely edit Wikipedia. I was into helping wiki's a decade ago, but now the process just feels bafflingly complex.

But when I was watching through all of Jane Austen adaptations, and finished with her dramatized biographies, I almost missed The Real Jane Austen because it doesn't have a Wikipedia page! I thought, that's a tragedy; it was a really well done biography. And it's very notable, being one of only three dramas about Austen's life. It's got decent actors and everything!

So I spent like an hour or two creating a page that seemed like a good start, only to have it semi-deleted because it didn't have sources. So I tried again, adding two sources. I don't know what else I can do, but this process is not friendly towards the uninitiated, it feels like you have to be "in the club" to create a page, and I have no desire to invest the time to join.

I just created the page as a public service. Can you just tell me what else I need to do to get it to stay? Or just do it? I feel like it will take me several more hours to figure out what I need to do, whereas a pro can have it done in ten minutes. This whole process has just pushed me away from ever wanting to contribute to Wikipedia, not pulled me further in.

Thanks,

@Thunderbird L17
Hello,
Thank you for your message. I do agree that you have put in lots of effort while creating this draft but it is still missing one of the main aspect of a Wikipedia article i.e. referencing. Unless notability is asserted with help of external reliable sources, the drafts will not be accepted. Please see Wikipedia:Notability (films). Demonstration of notability is the priority.
I will do some research via Google Books and look out for the sources later. If you can add some reviews about the film then it will certainly help. Regards. Hitro talk 05:30, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I would greatly appreciate any assistance you have to offer. The Jane Austen in popular culture page set me off on my quest to watch every English adaptation. The page is very comprehensive, and I know the "what about X" argument is frowned upon, but it's a little frustrating that every other available English Jane Austen period adaptation has it's own page, with this singular exception. Especially since some of them have the exact same "notability" issues. This adaptation really is a gem, and deserves the publicity of a Wikipedia page so people know just what they're missing out on.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist. I've found a few reviews since, but mainly on blog pages since this has flown under the radar a little. And every review I have found has been positive. Thunderbird L17 (talk) 05:49, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've added even more references, cleaned them up, and resubmitted. Maybe 10 references will be enough? Thunderbird L17 (talk) 17:49, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

OCS 1

Oh Sees are a huge band: Osees

Their first record should have a Wikipedia page, and if you look at their Wiki page it is the ONLY release without one:

Osees#Discography WhipItGoodRealGood (talk) 06:06, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like a bands first record should be included since it's their first record. That's kind of a major thing for a band that ultimately becomes as popular and culturally important. The Guardian is a good enough source? WhipItGoodRealGood (talk) 06:07, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@WhipItGoodRealGood
Hello there,
The version of the draft that I declined did not contain any reference to The Guardian, to be honest it was unreferenced and appeared like a test edit. Anyhow, in order to demonstrate notability you need to fulfill criteria listed in WP:NALBUM. Please add some album reviews and resubmit.
Secondly, I do not see any purpose of the track listing where there is no song name. I'll recommend you to remove it. Regards. Hitro talk 10:43, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Eren Efe Erkan

Hello, I'm Yasir. I opened two topics named Eren Efe Erkan and Joyce Teknoloji, but both were rejected. I read about individuals and businesses. this person, Eren Efe Erkan, produced an electric vehicle that was the first in Turkey. There are 2, 3 other types of vehicles in his projects and he presents them in newspapers and in the fairs. According to the rules of people notability, this man has both invented something new. It has been awarded by the state and exhibited both at one major technology fair. Joyce Teknoloji or Eren Efe Erkan find it useful to open at least one page on wikipedia; because it's a new generation business and it's helpful to have it here so people can easily access information when they're wondering who this guy is. Also, everyone can do research and make impartial arrangements so that we write the truth. but its rejection is unfair, it is a subject that thousands of people wonder about, you can search 'Eren Efe Erkan' on google or 'Joyce Teknoloji' I would like to remind you again about the qualifications I have read on wikipedia. Kind regards.
