Kocourov is a small village and a part of the town Horšovský Týn in the Domažlice District. It is located about 2 km north of Horšovský Týn and has 11 registered addresses.[1] As of 2011, the village had a population of 29 residents.[2]

Kocourov is located within the cadastral territory of Kocourov u Horšovského Týna, which has an area of 4.37 km2.[3]

History

The first written mention of the village dates back to 1542.[4]
