Introduction
To vote or nominate you have to be a registered user with at least one contribution that is not a vote. Anyone who does so is encouraged to make at least one edit per vote or nomination to the currently chosen article, Tulmohan Ram (random unreferenced BLP of the day for 30 Oct 2024 - provided by User:AnomieBOT/RandomPage via WP:RANDUNREF). Any and all articles may be nominated except:
- Articles that are currently at featured status
- Articles in edit wars
How to nominate
I | Add nomination
Copy and paste the following template to the bottom of the list of nominations on this page and fill it out. ==={{la|Article}}===
{{acid|start=October 30, 2024|votes=1}}
<!-- Remember to update the vote counter when you place your vote! -->
; Support:
# ~~~~
; Comments:
* (put your reason for nomination) --~~~~
----
Under "comments" section put explanation of what work is needed. |
---|---|
II | Notify
After submitting the new nomination, go to the nominated article's talk page and put this at the top: {{ACIDnom}} |
How to vote
Sign with "# ~~~~" on the end of the list of the article you want to vote for and then update the vote count in the subhead. Opposing votes are not counted; see approval voting. You can vote for as many articles as you like. Additionally you can give a comment in the comment section; use terms such as appalling and shocking sparingly, remember that every editor that has ever edited a nominated article probably did so to the best of his of her ability.
How the article is selected
Article with the most votes every two weeks or so is selected as "The current Article Improvement Drive article". If two articles have same number of votes, the nominee with the higher number of hits per day over the previous month wins. The following template:
{{Template:ACIDcur}}
is placed atop the article talk page.
How an article is removed from the list
Nominated articles remain on this page for three "selections", after which that article entry is removed from and moved to the page for removed nominations.
Notes
New nominations go *AT THE BOTTOM* :-)

- This is a basic and central concept in physics, and requires improvement. The article needs cleanup, and I think it deserves some more attention from non-physicists. This is a topic that I imagine many physics students will look at, and I feel that the central concepts ought to be both better presented and more accessible/readable. -- Iotha 02:29, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Parts of this article are borderline BS, especially the beginning of the explanation section. ("Einstein explained in 1905 that a magnetic field is the relativistic part of an electric field.") It needs a pretty thorough going over, not just for clarity but for correctness. (Much of the article is fine, but the parts that aren't stick out like a sore thumb to me.) --Starwed 11:55, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

- The reason for this nomination is: Wikipedia is planning to make a paper release version very soon after the CD release.
- "This article has been selected for Version 0.5 and the next release version of Wikipedia."
- "This article has been identified by the Version 1.0 Editorial Team as a Core Topic, one of the 150 most important articles for any encyclopedia to have. Please help improve this article as we push to 1.0."

- Never visited there, we drove around and thought is was so small compared to Disney World(it really is a Small World after All), but this is the place that started it all. Prior to Disneyland, there were no Theme Parks! Walt Disney wanted to improve the image of the common Amusement Park to something better, they did not have a good image or the quality that is more common today. Kidsheaven 00:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

- The Beatles' magnum opus and arguably the greatest, most influential album of all time. It is loaded with innovative recording techniques and cultural references, in addition to the unforgettable songs themselves. However it failed to achieve even the GA status — certainly worth a group effort. BorgQueen 02:21, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- This article is an embarrassment that we should correct sooner rather than later. Owen 03:07, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- This article is factually incorrect. I would be willing to write a history of childhood in the eighteenth century and a survey of the discipline of childhood studies. I also have an excellent bibliography that covers the seventeenth century, the eighteenth century, nineteenth century, the middle ages and the Greco-Roman world that might assist others. My bibliography is isolated to Europe, I'm afraid. Awadewit 13:13, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
