Sofia Kourtesis is a Peruvian[1] DJ and producer currently based in Berlin.[2]

History

Kourtesis released her debut EP, This Is It, in 2014.[3] Kourtesis released her self-titled second EP in 2019[4] and an EP of four songs in 2020 titled Sarita Colonia.[5] This was followed by a five-song EP in 2021 called Fresia Magdalena.[6][7]

Kourtesis released a single titled Estación Esperanza featuring Manu Chao in 2022 and the single Madres in 2023.[8] Both of these songs will be on the debut album, Madres, that will be released in October 2023 via the Ninja Tune label.[9]
