Kalayaan Broadcasting System, Inc. (KBSI) is a Philippine radio network. Its main headquarters is located at Damosa Bldg., J.P. Laurel Ave., Brgy. Lanang, Davao City. KBSI operates a number of stations across the country under the Gold FM and Radyo Rapido brandings.[1][2][3][4]

Controversies

  • On November 5, 2023, Juan Jumalon (DJ Johnny Walker) of Gold FM 94.7 Calamba, was shot in the head by an unidentified gunman as he was hosting his live radio program in his own home in Barangay Don Bernardo A. Neri. The said incident was also captured during his program's livestream.
