Nya Pam Gom — Sources/Verifiability?

Hello, I'm trying to find any source on the Nya Pam Gom page listed here, and although I can confirm the website domain was registered 5 yrs 66 days ago, the link given here is to a defunct page (archive.org has a couple captures from June 2022, but I have found no evidence the page contained much of anything before these dates) so I'm wondering if anyone has a better source, or any source, to show this was an actual UFO religion. Since this article has as important policies "no original research" and "verifiability" and use of a single non-reputable site I don't think it should continue to be included here. Also, this is a very recent inclusion—only added on June 11, 2022, and given that the page for "The Cosmic Circle of Fellowship" also only had a single source and was deleted, I don't think this religion meets criteria.

I'm interested in hearing other opinions before doing anything with the page since I'm not an editor. Thank you. 107.129.164.185 (talk) 23:30, 11 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Falun Gong???

Some of these entries are very dubious indeed. For example, is the Church of the SubGenius a religion at all? And since they don't even believe in their own messiah and only say they do for a joke, does it matter what else they claim to believe in? But the most puzzling entry on this useless list is Falun Gong. If this is indeed a "UFO religion", then it's by far the largest such movement, and the only one likely to become a major world religion in the long term. But looking at your own quite lengthy article on Falun Gong to which this page links, I can find literally no mention at all of UFOs. If flying saucers are such a minor part of their belief-system that their entire religion can be described in detail without bothering to mention space aliens or UFOs even once, is it in any meaningful way a "UFO religion"? 86.144.183.66 (talk) 07:11, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You raise a good point about the Church of the SubGenius. Religion in and of itself is a thing difficult to define (see Definition of religion), and I am not sure we are qualified to make such a distinction here, so whichever editor put it there likely put it there out of giving the benefit of the doubt.
As for the Falun Gong, there are a few sources I found about it being a religion with alien/UFO beliefs. Here is one that is fully accessible: https://www.baylor.edu/content/services/document.php?id=22523. You raise another good point, though, about the Falun Gong article mentioning nothing about it. I will probably go over there soon to add to it. Jacquesparker0 (talk) 07:43, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
