Welcome! This is the best place to ask questions about my maps or to make requests. Questions about sources might already be answered on my data sources page. I do make mistakes, if you find one I've made let me know here and I'll attempt to fix it promptly. I'm much more likely to see messages left here than on individual map talk pages.

Map request

[edit]

Hi Karl--I saw you made File:Yellowflrivermap.png. Can you make a map like that for Pea River? And I'm writing up Three Notch Road (I hope it's up by the time you read this)--can you make a map for that article too? I'm afraid I don't have much information on it yet, but I can look--though I think you probably can find what you need faster than I can! Thank you so much, and thanks for the work you've already done for the project. Drmies (talk) 20:19, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I don't have much time for map making these days, so probably not anytime soon, in the meantime I did mark the Pea river on the map I did for the Choctawhatchee and that one could probably be used for both rivers. Kmusser (talk) 20:26, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I see that--thanks! I appreciate it. Drmies (talk) 21:11, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cosson and Loire rivers

[edit]

Hello Kmusser, On your map of the Loire river, you shown the Cosson as a direct tributary of the Loire. In fact, the Cosson is a tributary of the Beuvron, and the Beuvron is a tributary of the Loire.

MARC and VRE maps

[edit]

Hello, I noticed your very high-quality static map for MARC. I was wondering if you were interested in changing the line colors on that map to #fea92e for the Brunswick Line, #ff5624 for the Camden Line, and #da2a38 for the Penn Line, just so the lines are color-coded in line with their official map colors on MARC's website? Additionally, I was also wondering if you were also interested in making a similar map for VRE, with #eb1b23 for the Fredericksburg Line, and #1a458b for the Manassas Line, also to color-code the lines in line with the official map colors on VRE's website? Thank you! --OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 11:37, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Afraid I don't have much time for Wikipedia this days. Your suggestion is a good one and probably pretty easy with an SVG editor, but I don't even have one loaded any more. Kmusser (talk) 01:57, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
