This heading uses an incorrect "surname"
[edit]Aveline, a female, was not be referred to as "fitz Peter". Her father was Geoffrey fitz Peter but that was because he was the son of a man named Peter (filius or "son" in Latin, abbreviated as fił3, later misread as fitz). Her brothers took the surname Mandeville due of the vast inheritance from their maternal grandmother, Beatrice de Say neé Mandeville, which included the earldom of Essex.
