Retail Cannabis content addition
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I am looking to add some content about OEG's recent work to this article, specifically about the Group's 2019 entry into retail cannabis, as supported by these sources:
- https://www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com/news/oeg-retail-cannabis-to-acquire-dispensaries-tokyo-smoke-brand-from-canopy-growth/
- https://www.oeg.ca/our-businesses/retail-cannabis (a primary source, only for reference)
Similarly, the abovementioned sources reflect the rebranding of Oilers Entertainment Group as OEG Inc. Can the article be renamed accordingly? DJ for Katz (talk) 17:23, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've added a mention of Tokyo Smoke. 162 etc. (talk) 16:28, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- I am marking this request as reviewed because the proposed changes appear to have been implemented. Best, SpencerT•C 04:55, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

Misplaced content
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
On June 25, an editor inserted content about CRA investigations of the OEG Inc.'s CEO, Jurgen Schreiber. This information has nothing to do with OEG Inc. or its operations; details of Schreiber's alleged personal financial misdoings belong on his page, not on OEG Inc.'s. I'd be grateful for the community's consideration of this change. Thank you, DJ for Katz (talk) 15:46, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- >"This information has nothing to do with OEG Inc" That's a stretch. He's literally the CEO. It can stay. 162 etc. (talk) 16:31, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: Declined per 162 etc. Quetstar (talk) 21:17, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks 162 etc. for your prompt review and response. I understand that Schreiber's role as CEO makes him relevant to this article, of course. However, the CRA investigations into his personal finances do not relate to his role at OEG Inc. in any way; OEG is only mentioned in the investigation as Schreiber's employer. Wikipedia guidelines indicate that this kind of personal information should not be included on a company page. Thanks again, DJ for Katz (talk) 15:09, 15 July 2024 (UTC)
