Daniel Mora Chavez is Costa Rican comic book artist who has primarily worked for DC and Boom! Studios, but has also contributed work to Marvel, IDW, and Image Comics.^[1] Popverse referred to him as "arguably the most popular artist in modern superhero comics,".^[2]

Personal life and education

Mora was born June 5, 1986, in San José, Costa Rica. He studied art at the University of Costa Rica.^[3] He cites one of his biggest inspirations to be Bruce Timm.^[4]

Additional work

The character art for the Massive-Verse fighting card game was drawn by Mora.^[5] DC has adapted Mora's work on Detective Comics #1045 into a collectible 3d figure for it's December 2024 line.^[6]
