Louis Christen Racing, commonly known as LCR is a Swiss sidecar manufacturer named after founder Louis Christen. LCR sidecars have dominated sidecar road racing winning 23 World Sidecar Championships including every one of Steve Webster's 10 world championships as well as numerous national championships in many countries.

LCR started in 1971 building open wheel racing cars, Formula Vee, Formula Ford and Formula 3 These cars won several national championships and many international races.

In 1976 the first LCR sidecar was designed. From 1983 to 1989 they produced a series of very successful monocoque frames for the 80 cc and 125 cc Grand-Prix solo classes. Zündapp worksteam and later Krauser were using 80 cc frames and driver Stefan Dörflinger twice won the World Championship. There were several Grand Prix wins in the 125 class with MBA- engines.

LCR have been pioneers in sidecar racing claiming that all significant advances in sidecar design originated at LCR, such as monocoque chassis and hub centre steering. Although these and other advances had been used before, the advanced designs used by LCR set the standard and all other manufacturers are often seen as copies of LCR.

For the 2007 Superside season LCRs make up all but three of the permanent teams.
