Levinus Hulsius or Levin Hulsius (1546 in Ghent,east-Flanders, Belgium; 1606 in Frankfurt am Main) He was a maker of fine instruments; publisher and printer; linguist and lexicographer; wrote extensively on the construction of geometrical instruments. Although he was born in Flanders he lived and worked in The Netherlands, England, and Germany.
