this is not a PD image. it is clearly a recolored copy of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:NTSC-PAL-SECAM.svg which is about a year older.

right, even the color of western sahara is unchanged, even though it should be grey. --72.196.0.51 (talk) 19:00, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greenland doesn't use NTSC. It should be blue instead of green. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.143.195.118 (talk) 17:19, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For what does the opaque green of Bhutan and Western Sahara stand? And also Greenland should be blue per this source. Note that Greenland uses PAL while the United States military's small Thule Air Base uses NTSC, which would seem obvious. I don't know how to change Greenland's colour in Inkscape, if someone who does sees this, please go ahead and change it. Thank you! --72.75.55.29 07:06, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I updated the file on Commons with these corrections/additions:
  • These countries/territories have PAL: Lichtenstein, Isle of Man, Brunei, Greenland, Gibraltar, Jersey, Guernsey, Buthan, Faroe Islands
  • These countries/territories have PAL/SECAM: Luxembourg, Andorra
As for Western Sahara, they have PAL/SECAM.

Digital television?

I don't have the proper software, but could someone make a similar map for digital television standards? --72.196.0.51 (talk) 19:00, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
