CKHZ-FM is Halifax, Nova Scotia's newest Dance-leaning Rhythmic Top 40 outlet. The station is owned by Evanov Radio Group.

When CKHZ signs on the air in 2005 it will sport the moniker and handle Z-103.5, The Beat Of Halifax and is expected to pattern its format after sister station CIDC/Toronto, Ontario.

The station will target the format towards youths and young adults in the 12-29 range. Its also expected to have competition from Mainstream Top 40 rival CIOO(C100 FM), whose playlist have started to tweak a bit from its Adult sound in anticipation of welcoming its new arrival.
