== Bartaman Patrika ==


Bartaman Patrika is the only anti-establishment newspaper published simultaneously from Kolkata,Burdwan,Maldaha,and Shiliguri of West Bengal State.

It was founded by Mr. Barun Sengupta, the legendary Newsman from Koklata. He was previously with Anandabazar Patrika, and after retirement he has started Bartaman.

Within 20 years of it's life, Bartaman has stood out to be a major media force in West bengal. It's strength is its strong anti establishment voice, and a devoted readership.

Bartaman's Online edition-www.bartamanpatrika.com [1] - is also a huge success. Only in 3 years, it has drawn blood from its main competetor, anandabazar website, to a large extent. Only in the 2nd year of its operation, bartamanpatrika.com ranked as the top Bengali website from West Bengal and Bangladesh with most important search engines.

Bartaman Pvt. Ltd., which was originally founded at 76A, AJC Bose Road, has recently shifted all it's operations to it's new state of the art building on 6,JBS Halden Avenue, Kolkata-105.

Alongside the Newspaper, Bartaman Publishes two very popular magazines: Saptahik Bartaman and Sukhi Grihokon. Both are dearly loved by their readers.
