The Coyote Reconnaissance Vehicle is an armoured fighting vehicle built by General Motors of Canada for the Canadian Armed Forces, for use in the reconnaissance role. Its eight-wheeled design is a licensed version of the Swiss Mowag Piranha. The Coyote is a larger version of the of the six-wheeled Canadian AVGP, also developed from the Piranha.

Coyotes mount a 25mm autocannon. Some also have a sophisticated suite of electronic surveillance equipment on a ten-metre telescoping mast. The mast has radar, video, and infrared night vision surveillance, and can peek out from behind a hill or building.

The original Coyotes were equipped with an amphibious propulsion system. Newer Coyotes use larger wheels than the first version. Compared to the Stryker, the Coyote's hull armour is sloped more, to give better protection but at the cost of internal vehicle space.
