Reverting edits

Please refrain from removing important article links like is being done at Prairie View A&M University. Part of the advantage of having an encyclopedia on the internet is the ability to place hyperlinks from one aticle to another where appropriate. It is standard practice to place such links in articles on Wikipedia. Your repeated removal may constitute an edit war, which could lead to your edits being considered unproductive. In light of the fact that you are using an IP-address at a school, this may lead to the IP address being blocked by an administrator.

Feel free to visit my talk page if you have quesitons. If you think there is a valid reason to remove those links, please let's first discuss the idea. Until then, I will revert the article once again back to its original state.--Paul McDonald (talk) 15:48, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Third Revert another editor has completed a third revert of your unproductive changes on Prairie View A&M University. You have given us no choice but to follow the procedures discussed in WP:WAR.--Paul McDonald (talk) 16:12, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please cease your edits are unproductive at Prairie View A&M University. For example, links will often times have a link to an article, but another description. For example, the article may show "The school" but the encoding is written as "[[Prairie View A&M University|The school]]". Note the "|" embedded to differentiate between the link and the text displayed. When you complete your edits, we see "Prairie View A&M University|The school" because your edits only remove the surrounding brackets. This makes for a very unclear article.--Paul McDonald (talk) 16:27, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
