Tiberiinae is a subfamily of minute parasitic sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies. The shells have many-whorled, umbilicate shells that lack both shell sculpture and the tooth/teeth that are characteristic for most other members of the family Pyramidellidae. They may, however, have slight folds on the columella.
This is one of eleven recognised subfamilies in the family Pyramidellidae according to the taxonomy of Ponder & Lindberg (1997). However, in the taxonomy of Bouchet & Rocroi (2005), this subfamily has been downgraded to the rank of tribe Tiberiini Saurin, 1958 in the subfamily Syrnolinae Gray, 1840 .
According to Schander, Van Aartsen & Corgan (1999) the subfamily contains a single genus, Tiberia Monterosato, 1875.
Genus
- Tiberia Monterosato, 1875 (type genus)
