Historic buildings and cultural attractions

Upton House is a Neo-Classical country house dated about 1750, whose design is usually attributed to William Halfpenny, of Bristol.

Approximately 1.5 miles to the southwest is the partially ruined historic Beverstone Castle and approximately 2.5 miles to the southwest is Calcot Manor, which has a restored medieval tithe barn and where some significant Roman relics have been found.[2][3]
