Juris Sokolovskis (Template:Lang-ru, transcribed: Yury Nikolaevich Sokolovskiy) born on June 13, 1976, in Riga — Latvian lawyer and politician, member of 7th, 8th and 9th Saeima, co-chairman of ForHRUL since 2007.

Biography

1996 — takes part at founding the party Equal Rights. Joins Latvian Human Rights Committee.

1998 — elected to 7th Saeima, becoming the youngest MP in Saeima's history.

1999 — Bachelor degree in law.

2001 — Master degree in law.

2002 — re-elected to Saeima.

2003 March—June — head of ForHRUL group in Saeima.

2004 May—June — temporarily serves as MEP from Latvia.

Since 2005 — co-chairman of ForHRUL youth organization.

2006 — re-elected to Saeima.

Since 2007 — co-chairman of ForHRUL.
