User:Tigerghost (born October 14, 1989 in Quincy, Illinois); also known as Christopher, is a daily contributor to wikipedia as an editor.
Personal Life
Christopher was born in Quincy, Illinois in 1989. During his early life he traveled across the nation living in places such as Ogden, Utah, Montgomery, Alabama, and Omaha, Nebraska. When he was younger, he was known to play many video games and grew an interest in technology, which continues to be a subject that fasinates him. He discovered Wikipedia in the summer of 2006 and since then has been an avid contributor to the site. Mostly he is seen editting articles that focus on his region of the country, especially articles devoted to Quincy.
Sometime in 2000 he began to suffer from a severe form of social anxiety disorder and became nervous around people his own age out of fear of embarrassment and rejection. He is a devoted fan of alternative rock, punk and grunge music, citing that Green Day and Nirvana are two of his favorite bands. While in high school, Chris developted a strong nostalgia for the 1990s.
As of 2003, Christopher became interested into politics. His opinions on politics often side with those of the Democrats and he will describe himself as a leftist and liberal. His political views include a pro-choice stance on abortion, the separation of church and state, environmentalism, political acceptance of same-sex marriage, universal healthcare, free trade, and diplomacy. In addition to the positions stated in the previous sentence, Chris also is opposed to war, and corporate greed, which he states are "huge issues that need resolved in the United States." In 2008 he participated in the Democratic Primary supporting Barack Obama (D-IL).
Christopher has not shown a sexual interest with girls or guys and identifies himself as a "biromantic" Asexual. He does plan on marrying someday and raising a family.
Writing is another interest of Chris' and someday he wishes to persue a writing career as a Fantasy and Science Fiction author and/or journalist. He has kept a journal in which he documents major happenings in his daily life. In addition to writing stories, he also writes songs occationally while continuing to learn to play the electric guitar.
Even though Christopher has a strong nostalgia for the 1990s, he still keeps true to his progressive nature by always focusing on the future with optimism and hope. Christopher loves trying to predict the future via future studies and focuses much of his attention on the 2010s. In that decade he plans on buying an electric car and graduating university by 2012, publishing a novel by 2015, his second novel by 2017, and running for Quincy's City council at or before 2020.
In 2009, User:Tigerghost donated $10.00 to The 1 Second Film.
