Template:Infobox Place Ireland Ballyhupahaun, also spelt Ballyhuppahane, (Baile hup na hauna in Irish, meaning "John's Townsland") is a small hamlet in County Laois, Ireland, in the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Features

As Ballyhupahaun is situated in the Slieve Bloom Mountains there are many beautiful walks quite nearby. Most of the area is covered in forest. The trees were planted by local farmers on marginal land unsuitable for farming. The area of Ballyhupahaun has some recreational areas such as The Cathole Falls, Ballyhupahaun house.
