Gawthorpe Hall
The entrance of Gawthorpe Hall, near Padiham, England. The Elizabethan house dates back to the English Civil War, beginning as a pele tower. In 1850, Sir Charles Barry redesigned the house. Until 1970, Gawthorpe Hall was owned by the Kay-Shuttleworth family. Now on the National Trust, the house now contains historical artifacts.Photo credit: Childzy
