Alfred George Richard “Red” Carr (born December 29, 1916) was a Canadian ice hockey left winger, who spent eight seasons playing Senior hockey before playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League in 1943. He played junior hockey for the Winnipeg Junior Falcons. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is the father of Gene Carr, who also played in the NHl.

In September 2010. Red Carr was one of a number of athletes, builders and media to be inducted into the Nanaimo Sports Hall of Fame. The report

was published in "nANAIMO NEWS BULLETIN" September 19th. story by Greg Saki titled

"Memories preserved in sports hall of fame".
