Pocket Frogs is a game developed and published by Nimblebit for the Apple app store. it was released as a free game with additional in app purchases. [1][2] With the latest patch, it now has Game Center support.

Gameplay

In Pocket Frogs, players breed different frogs together to earn money and experience points. Frogs are worth more in value as their level of rarity increases, however these take longer to grow. Players can save up to 50 frogs into their catalog although there are over 10,000 different breeds. Catalog frogs can be purchased again and sent to a player's mailbox to be delivered. Players can also gain experience points by completing awards in the game. Gaining experience also increases a players level, meaning they can obtain rarer frogs. Each habitat can hold 8 frogs and players can buy more habitats with the money they earn. Habitats can be customized with different scenery and wallpapers, which can be purchased for coins or found in presents around the pond. In the pond view, players control their frog, taming it by eating flies, breeding with other frogs players find, and finding presents. Presents include various breeds of frogs, potions (for quick frog growths), stamps (for quick delivery of mailbox items) and coins. Frogs can also be gifted via Plus+.[3][4][5] The game is set in real time. That means that it will take up to 2 hours for a frog to hatch and grow into an adult. In short, this game is like having a virtual pet but you don't have to feed them or clean up after them (in the game and in real life). The app can be purchased from the iTunes App Store.
